There's a certain allure to being a travel writer and photographer team. It comes as no surprise. Who wouldn't want to traipse around the globe with your best bud and get paid for it? Since 1996, we've had the privilege of working together while experiencing this type of lifestyle. And soon we'll be sharing our proven process with others.

If you've already dabbled in the writing world, and would like to know how to succeed in this industry, our two and a half day workshop / retreat will show you how. It will take place at our exclusive property on Big Bar Lake in BC's beautiful Cariboo. You'll learn everything from how to write the perfect pitch and set up assignments to getting tips on photojournalism and marketing your stories. And while being embraced by beauty and nature and relaxing in comfort, you'll discover how to get paid while travelling the world together.

Here's what's included in this workshop retreat

• 2 nights deluxe accommodation, based on double occupancy
• 3 meals/day plus snacks

• Guided hike (optional)
• Use of bikes, canoe and kayaks / lifejackets

Although this course will focus on photojournalism and travel writing, it doesn't teach the basic principles of the writing process. It is, therefore, recommended for registrants who have already had some writing experience.

For optimum teaching and learning, space is always limited to three couples. By no means is it restricted to husband and wife teams. Your travelling partner may be a sister, friend or you're your mother. At this point, we are taking names for our 2011 sessions.
